Implementation
Implementation of a complex audiovisual project typically
involves multiple disciplines and very detailed procedures.
Engineering Phase
- Specification of equipment related to the AV system and
provide related cut-sheets and descriptions
- Definition of base-building infrastructure requirements
including conduit requirements, structural and blocking requirements, etc.
- Calculation of system mechanical requirements including
heat loads, power requirements, LAN requirements, etc.
- Drafting of all AV drawings in AutoCAD
- AV Floor Plan
- AV Ceiling Plan
- AV Conduit Riser
- AV Flow Diagrams
- Provide required coordination documentation to necessary
parties
Project Management
- Maintain project status reports
- Develop project timeline including cross trade
coordination
- On site coordination of construction related issues with
on-site trades
- Attend scheduled project meetings
- Track products and schedule delivery of product to site
- Facilitate the creation of user’s manuals and equipment
documentation
- Perform system testing
- Facilitate end-user training
Installation

contractor for electrical and telecommunication/low-voltage cabling as well as a
licensed major contractor. On-staff employees hold 37 relevant State licenses
and are certified in 15 technology products. In addition, 2 employees are
Certified Technology Specialists from the International Communications
Information Association. bkm Total Office has been proactively in the business
of providing electrical and telecommunication/low-voltage cabling for many
years.

- Mounting of AV devices including projectors, plasma
