Asset Storage and Tracking...
 

Approximately 50% of our 351,000 square feet of warehousing space is dedicated to Asset Storage and Tracking (AST). Effective storage and reuse of furniture assets is the hallmark of a best practices asset management program. Our customers have been able to reduce their furniture purchases by more than $100,000,000 utilizing our services and technology.

As the largest user of Snaptracker software in the world, we have been able to take costs out of customers' value chain by taking full advantage of the technology. We work often with the software programmers to identify enhancement opportunities.

While technology and warehouse space are important elements of our AST program, the 20 people working specifically with customer owned furniture assets are the heart and soul of the program. They work with our customers to develop standards and procedures for dealing with furniture ranging from repair, to reuse to disposition to donation.

Clearly defined furniture standards are also a very important element of the program. This allows furniture in one location to be used in another without problems. By integrating standards with strategic real estate decisions, customers can know exactly where their assets will be moved over the next five years.
